CDA (California Dental Association)
The California Dental Association holds conventions twice a year in California. At these sessions, the staff members at Premier Dental Care attend several lectures throughout the four day convention, and go to several booths provided by dental companies to see the latest materials and devices introduced into the dental field. This gives us the opportunity to gain more knowledge about the newest technology in dentistry, and to find out how we can incorporate it into our practice.

Isolite®
Isolite® is an example of a device that was purchased at CDA for the benefit of our patients. At Premier Dental Care, we make every effort to ensure that our patients are comfortable and relaxed during all procedures. In order for us to best determine how a patient is going to feel in our dental chair, we take every opportunity to see exactly what it is like for our patients. Before purchasing our Isolite® device, we decided to try it out for ourselves. Our staff member decided to find out how well it would protect our patients, and determine how comfortable our patients would be while using this device. Isolite® is used in order to help the patient stay open without straining his/her facial muscles. It also provides adequate light into the mouth and provides a significant amount of suction, while also preventing debris from entering the back of the throat.

Morning Activities
The staff members at Premier Dental Care pride ourselves on our ability to work together as a team. Every morning, we hold staff meetings which we use as an opportunity to go over our daily schedule and to complete an activity that will keep our staff working together. We understand that our patient's cannot be satisfied with their dental experience if their dental office cannot work together efficiently. We make an effort to become a team in order to accomplish our goal, our patient's happiness.

Activities Together
At Premier Dental Care, we have developed strong friendships through our interest to help others. Because we enjoy working as a team, we also like to play as a team. As an office, we enjoy bowling, going to events together and playing on a volleyball team - The Cavitrons.
